Home Tips

Tips written around Rosemead’s one-story postwar houses: early drywall and nail pops, hollow-core doors, aluminum sliders, original shutoff valves and garage outlets. Each one covers what to look for, what you can try yourself, and the point where a repair is worth handing off. Questions? Call or text (310) 628-9399, Mon–Sat 8:30 AM–7 PM.

How to use these tips

Each tip starts with the small problems we are called about most in Rosemead, from ranch-house sliding doors to kitchen drains in homes built after the war. Read the first section to see whether the cause sounds like yours, try the simple checks if you are comfortable, and stop when a step calls for tools or skills you do not have. If you get stuck, text a photo of where you stopped and we will tell you what we see.

Tips are grouped loosely by room. Bathroom and kitchen notes sit near the top, then doors and windows, then walls, outdoor fixtures and seasonal chores. For jobs you would rather hand off, the services list explains what each visit includes.
