In short
We mount TVs into studs or masonry, level them, and run cables in a cover along the wall. Fixed, tilt and full-motion mounts are all fine. Send the TV model and a photo of the wall, and we price it ahead of time.
Your photo checklist
- The wall where the TV will hang
- The TV model
- The mount box or model
- Outlet and device location
- The wall material, if known

Mounting in a city with active faults
Rosemead’s Public Safety Element names the Alhambra Wash fault as “The only known active fault at the surface within the City,” and adds that Rosemead “is also underlain by two buried thrust faults that, although they do not reach the ground surface, have the potential to cause strong ground shaking in Rosemead.”
That’s one more reason a TV should be anchored rather than balanced on a stand. In a February 2024 release, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that of 217 tip-over deaths from 2013 through July 2023, 47 percent involved a television. Its advice: “Anchor TVs and furniture, such as bookcases and dressers, securely to the wall.”
How a mounting visit goes
Pick the spot
We sit where you watch, hold up a template and mark the height with tape for your OK.
Find the framing
A stud finder and a small test hole confirm the studs. We also scan for pipes and wires behind the wall.
Bolt the bracket
Lag bolts go into the center of the studs, and the bracket is leveled before the bolts are fully tightened.
Hang, level and dress the cords
The TV goes on, safety screws or locks are set, and cords run through a raceway down to the outlet.
Bigger jobs, free estimate
An outlet behind the TV, so no cord shows at all, means a new box and new wiring, which gets its own free estimate. Once it’s in, we hang the TV and route the low-voltage cables. Brick or a fireplace surround takes masonry anchors and more planning, so include a photo of it when you text.
While we’re out for this, Rosemead customers often add picture and art hanging, furniture anchoring, shelf installation, furniture assembly, outlet, switch and GFCI replacement or cabinet door and drawer repair.
What to text
The TV size and model, the mount if you already have one, and a photo of the wall with the furniture that will sit below it. Text them to (310) 628-9399.

TV mounting questions
How much does it cost to mount a TV in Rosemead?
It depends on the TV size, mount type and wall. Send those and a photo of the wall.
How long does it take a pro to mount a TV?
Depends on the job; we’ll let you know after we see photos.
What if my studs are not where I want the TV?
A wider bracket or a mount with a sliding plate lets the TV sit off center from the studs. We show you the options before drilling.
Can you mount over a fireplace?
Yes, if the wall above is framed and you are fine with the height. A pull-down mount helps with neck strain.
Do you take the TV off the stand and pack it up?
Not the packing. We set the stand aside. Keep the box if you want to store it.
Can a full-motion mount go on a single stud?
Some smaller ones are rated for it. Larger TVs on long arms need two studs.
Do you let me know before you come?
Yes. We send a text before we head over.
What if there’s a pipe or wire right where the TV should go?
We stop and go over the options with you, such as shifting the mount along the studs, before drilling anywhere else.
Do I need to buy the mount?
Not necessarily. The right mount depends on the TV and the wall. If we supply it, it’s listed in the quote.
Can you do it while I’m at work?
Yes, with a key, a lockbox code, or someone at home to let us in.
What if it’s not level a week later?
Text us. If something isn’t right after the job, we come back and take care of it.
Can you mount a TV without studs?
Light TVs can go on heavy-duty drywall toggles, but studs are better for anything large or on an arm.
Do I need a full motion TV mount?
Only if you want to angle the screen toward another seat or pull it out of a corner. Fixed and tilting mounts sit closer to the wall.
How far does a wall-mounted TV stick out?
A flat mount sits an inch or two off the wall; full-motion arms add several inches even when folded.
Can you mount a TV on a brick wall?
Yes. We drill into solid brick, not the mortar joint, and use sleeve or wedge anchors rated for the load. Some Rosemead homes have brick fireplaces, which work well with the right anchors.
Can you hang the TV with the mount I bought?
Yes. Most store-brand mounts work if they match your TV’s VESA pattern and weight rating. Check the box or send us the model and we confirm before the visit.
