Holiday lights on Rosemead homes
Many Rosemead houses from around the city’s 1959 median build year are single-story ranches with low eaves, which makes them easy to light from a ladder without anyone getting on the roof. Stucco walls and wood fascia both take clips well; we avoid nails and staples so nothing has to be patched in January.
Outdoor outlets are the weak spot. We plug into existing GFCI outlets with weather-rated cords and covers, spread the load across circuits, and tell you if an outlet isn’t protected so you can have it looked at.
How the day goes
Plan the layout
You show us what you want lit, and we check outlets and cord runs.
Test the strings
Every string is plugged in on the ground first so dead bulbs are found early.
Hang with clips
Lights go up evenly with clips, and cords are tucked away from walkways.
Set timers
Timers are set and you see the finished display before we leave.
Outside what we take on
Roof and gutter lines that need someone on the roof, two-story eaves, and new outdoor outlets or circuits are outside our work. We hang what’s reachable from the ground or a ladder.

While we’re out for this, Rosemead customers often add outdoor and motion light installation, outlet, switch and GFCI replacement or mailbox installation.

Holiday light questions
Do you hang Christmas lights on the roof?
No. We hang lights we can reach from the ground or a ladder: porches, fences, windows, trees and low eaves.

Will clips damage my stucco or gutters?
No nails or staples. Clips come off cleanly when the lights come down.
Do you take the lights down too?
Yes. We take them down after the season and pack them for next year.
Can you use the lights I already have?
Yes. We test them first and let you know if any strings are dead.
How much does holiday light hanging cost?
It depends on how much you want lit. Send photos for a free estimate before anything is booked.
Can you add timers?
Yes, on existing outdoor outlets.
